Brian began his work in Lexington as the Pastor of Second Presbyterian Church in 2011. Beginning in 2016 he led both the congregations of Second and Fairmont to move toward the formation of what is now New Hope Presbyterian Church. He was installed as the Pastor of New Hope in September of 2018.
Brian began his ministry with the Presbyterian Church by serving as a Mission Volunteer in Juneau, Alaska. He has served congregations in Advance, Charlotte, Elkin, and Lexington North Carolina.
Brian is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Management. He received his Masters of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia.
His joy in life is his family. He and his wife Beth have two children, William and Wesley.
Christopher Kiser came to New Hope in October 2018. He leads our choir in worship each week, as well as provides accompaniment on the piano and organ. He also directs our youth choir and handbell choir. Christopher studied at UNCG and UNCSA and has been playing the piano/organ and directing music in church since he was eleven years old. He is a native of Lexington, and graduated from Union Grove Christian School. Christopher is also very involved in the community theaters of the greater triad area. He also teaches private piano and voice lessons.
